You’re on my mind.

DSCF2026

I’m in the middle of taking some online classes, but found myself thinking about you during this last break. I think about knitting all the time. It’s a daily part of my life. But what about you?

How big and what is the role of knitting in your life? What else do you like to do?

I hope you’ll tell us some of your story in the comments. Thanks!

I am always thinking about knitting. I catch myself at work staring into space thinking about knitting – how I could’ve done this or that better, how to make it easier next time, what color-way to use on a certain pattern, etc. Or I will be knitting and start thinking about what book I need to purchase to help with pattern I’m currently working on. Or last night, as I ripped out my shawl, I was thinking, now I have to cast this devil back on using a provisional cast on, but I’m going to learn Gwen’s way of doing it, on eduknit, because I’m not doing it the twist and turn way…h@ll no! I could go on, but as you can see, knitting and reading about knitting is all I think about unless I’m taking photos, then the minute the lens moves from my eyes I think, hmmm, how can I get this shot in some projects I’ve knitted up. I’m shameless and I admit it!

I think about knitting non stop……what I’m currently working on, what my next project will be, do I need a yarn fix. It’s become my life.

It is a good thing knitting isn’t actually bad for you or we might need to suggest a 12-step program for both of you!!! But I think Kellie and I can both understand how it can happen.

i’d never finish a 12 step anything, unless it’s knitting, hehehehehe
