We’ve spent this month saying goodbye to this venue, but don’t worry, Gwen and I aren’t going away! Here is some of what the future holds for me, Kellie. Remember to pin or bookmark this post so you can find the links later on.
XRX Inc: You’ll find me taking photos and working behind the scenes at STITCHES Expos, as well as writing for Knitter’s Magazine, which is a dream come true for me. I’ve got an article in the current issue about Opening Day at STITCHES West, so make sure your subscription, either digital or print, is up to date!
Photography: In addition to my hometown portrait photography business, I’m doing more and more fashion photography for designers and makers, with Claudia McLean and Jessica Anderson being two new clients.
I’m updating my photography Facebook Page and Blog as we speak, so follow along and you’ll always see my latest work. If you follow me on twitter @kellienuss, you’ll always see my Instagram and blog feeds.
Teaching: My Yarn Substitution class on Craftsy is going strong, and by using that link, you’ll get 5 dollars off the full price! I’ll be at MD Sheep and Wool again this year, teaching three children’s classes. In June I’m teaching photography at TNNA, which is a trade show, so if you’re a business owner connected with the needlearts industry, there is still time to register! I’ll also still occasionally be teaching at STITCHES.
As for my hopes and dreams, well, they are manifold. I don’t intend to give up any of my interests, so writing, photography and knitting will be woven together to create my unconventional professional life. I am grateful for that flexibility, and certainly hope most of all that my efforts will enrich YOUR creative life. It is my overarching goal to help you get the most out of the things you love to do.
Thanks for reading, for saying hello, for becoming friends. See you on the other side of 2 Sides 2 Points.
